UPDATE: In Ideate’s blog post Windows 8 and Autodesk Products posted on 10.24.12, Ideate said that Autodesk products were not supported on Windows 8 operating system.
GOOD NEWS – Autodesk 2014 Products are Supported on Windows 8
Please note that if you are using 2014 products and 2013 products on the same machine, you may run into a .NET 4.5 issue. For 2013 products, make sure you have all the Autodesk software updates installed. For 2012 Revit products, please refer to the following hotfix:
